About This Watch

The Rolex Datejust 31 has long stood as a paragon of understated elegance, and this particular iteration, introduced in 2020, refines the collection’s legacy with a focus on precision and restraint. The white dial, treated with a luminous gloss finish, serves as a canvas for the watch’s defining characteristic: the Roman numerals, which lend it a timeless aesthetic rooted in the Datejust’s mid-20th-century origins. Encased in polished stainless steel, its 31-millimeter diameter balances modern wearability with the heritage of a model first conceived in 1945. The domed stainless steel bezel and sapphire crystal reinforce its robust yet refined character, while the stick hands and indexes ensure legibility without ostentation. This watch embodies the Datejust’s enduring role as a bridge between classic horology and contemporary craftsmanship, its design language unburdened by excess yet unmistakably Rolex. At its heart lies the Caliber 2236, a self-winding movement
