About the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris

The 1968 original was an alarm watch for divers, with a triple caseback that let the alarm sound through the water, and the 2018 collection took its inner bezel, its trapezoid indices and its dial. The Polaris Automatic runs the 898E/1 in 5 references here, the Polaris Date the 899A/1 in 8, the Chronograph the 751H in 6, the Memovox the 956AA alarm in 2, the Mariner models take the rating to 300 m, and the Perpetual Calendar of 2022 on the 868/AA accounts for 5. 12 references are chronographs and 5 perpetual calendars.

The 42 mm case accounts for 19 references, the 41 mm for 13 and the 44 mm Chronograph WT for 3. Steel is the material of 30 cases and pink gold of 5. Blue and black dials share the collection, at 15 and 14. Water resistance is 100 m on 27 references, 200 m on 5 and 300 m on the 3 Mariners, and 30 references have a display back. 2 are limited editions, and the rarity median is 2.

The Master Control shares the Memovox alarm, the Master Extreme was the sports line the Polaris replaced, and the glossary defines the bezel the Polaris keeps inside its crystal.
