At 60 mm this is exceptionally large for something worn on a wrist, closer to a pocket watch given lugs. The sapphire crystal will resist everything short of deliberate abuse. Rated to 30 m, it is protected against rain and splashes and nothing beyond that.

The movement is hand-wound, so winding it becomes part of the day rather than something the watch does for you. Its 35-hour reserve wants wearing most days; leave it off and it stops.

518.62.60.00.04.001 stands on its own in this catalogue — no other reference here shares its base number. It pairs a white dial with a enamel case. It was a limited edition. Introduced in 2021.

Omega's caliber 1894 is a recreation of the 19-ligne 'Omega' calibre which lend the brand its name. It is made using a mix of original components, including all of the bridges, mainplates, escapements and bimetallic balance spring, and new parts - such as the barrel, mainspring, jewels, bushings (in Sedna™ gold), axis & pinons, balance staff and wheels, and the entire winding mechanism.
