OmegaSeamaster Planet Ocean

The Seamaster Planet Ocean is Omega's 600 m diver, launched in 2005 and rebuilt around the Master Chronometer movements in 2016. This library holds 244 references, from 37.5 mm to the 52 mm Ultra Deep.

About the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Its design looked back to the 1957 Seamaster 300, with the broad arrow hands, the dot-and-dash minute track and an orange bezel option that became its signature. The case is the substance: 600 m with a helium escape valve, a unidirectional bezel that moved from aluminium to ceramic in 2011, and a thickness that puts the median reference here at 17.25 mm. The 2019 Ultra Deep Professional was rated to 15,000 m for the Five Deeps expedition, and the 2022 Ultra Deep brought a 6,000 m rating to the production line.

The movement sequence is the same as the rest of the Seamaster range: the Co-Axial 2500 in the first generation, 51 references here, then the in-house 8500 from 2011 in 31, and the Master Chronometer 8900 and 8800 from 2016. The chronographs follow the same path, from the 3313 to the 9300 and the 9900, and account for 57 references. The 8906 GMT of the Deep Black ceramic models and the 8912 of the Ultra Deep are the collection's own.

The 45.5 mm case is the most common at 112 references, then 42 mm at 54, 43.5 mm at 37 and the 37.5 mm ladies' model at 25. Steel accounts for 140 cases, with ceramic, red gold and titanium in double figures each, and 142 references have a display back. Black dials lead at 156, blue at 44. 28 references are limited editions.

The Seamaster Diver 300M is the lighter diver, the Seamaster 300 the historical one the Planet Ocean was drawn from, and the Ploprof the saturation diver.
