Caliber 52011

The IWC caliber 52011 is an automatic watch movement with bi-compax subdials displaying small running seconds at 9:00 and a power reserve subdial at 9:00. This design gives watches with the 52011 a chronograph look without stopwatch functionality and extra buttons on the side of the case. IWC introduced the 52000 family of 7 Day power reserve movements in 2015. The 52011 is an evolution caliber to the 52010. “The escapement has been improved to offer better protection against magnetic fields. The Pellaton winding system is reinforced with virtually wearfree zirconium oxide ceramic components and builds up a power reserve of seven days (168 hours) in two barrels.” -Press-Release: IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Automatic Now with Slimmer Case, Double Box-Glass and New Colour Codes (April, 9, 2024)
