About the Omega 1376

It is a rectangular movement of 9 mm by 15.15 mm with 5 jewels, 1.8 mm high without its battery, and its battery lasts about three and a half years. Leaving out the seconds hand is deliberate: a two-hand quartz has no stepper motor ticking round the dial, which suits a dress watch with a diamond bezel or a mother-of-pearl dial, and it makes the movement small enough for a 24 mm case.

In the library it sits under 262 Constellation references, the Constellation Quartz 24 and 27 in steel, yellow gold and red gold, and 70 De Ville Prestige references. The 24 mm case accounts for 125 references and the 27 mm for 122, with the 27.4 mm De Ville Prestige at 40.

The 1456 is the equivalent two-hand quartz in the 22 mm cases, the 4061 the three-hand quartz with the long-life battery in the 25 mm and 28 mm Manhattans, and the 8700 the mechanical alternative in the same collection.
