OmegaSpeedmaster Broad Arrow

The Speedmaster Broad Arrow revived the hands of the 1957 CK2915 on an automatic column-wheel chronograph. The Piguet-based 3303 came first and the co-axial 3313 later. This library holds 44 references, all chronographs.

About the Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow

The first Speedmaster carried broad arrow hands and a steel bezel, and this collection took both back at 42 mm, with the movement that made it possible: the 3303, a Frédéric Piguet 1285 with a column wheel and a vertical clutch, in 17 references here. The 3313 added the co-axial escapement, in 14. The 3603 put a GMT hand on the same base, the 3612 a split-seconds mechanism, and the 3320 and 3321 are the decorated and skeletonised versions, the latter in a platinum case. The Piguet piece traces the movement family, and the glossary defines the rattrapante.

The 42 mm case accounts for 32 references, the 44.25 mm of the GMT and split-seconds models for 9. Steel is the material of 26 cases, with red gold in 6, yellow gold in 5, white gold in 3 and platinum in 1. Black dials lead at 20 and white at 11. Water resistance is 100 m throughout, 25 references have a display back, and 4 are limited editions.

The Speedmaster Moonwatch is the hand-wound line the Broad Arrow reinterpreted, the Speedmaster '57 the 2013 revival of the same 1957 design on the in-house 9300, and the automatic Speedmasters collection holds the rest.
