PaneraiFerrari

Ferrari Engineered by Officine Panerai was a licensed line of 2005 to 2010, round-cased watches with the prancing horse. Panerai made the Granturismo and Scuderia series and sold them beside its own collections. This library holds 27 references.

About the Panerai Ferrari

The cases were round rather than cushion-shaped, 45 mm for most models and 40 mm for a few, and the movements were the OP calibers Panerai used before its in-house generation: the OP XII in 7 references here, the OP XVIII in 3, the OP III and the chronograph OP VIII in 2 each, and a run of others in ones and twos. 24 references are automatic and 3 hand-wound, and 11 are chronographs, including the Scuderia Flyback and the Granturismo 8 Days Chrono Monopulsante; 7 carry a second time zone.

Steel is the material of 23 cases and pink gold of 4. Black dials account for 24, with red and yellow, the Ferrari colours, on the rest. Water resistance is 100 m throughout. 2 references are limited editions, and the rarity median is 7: the line was short-lived and is rarely catalogued.

The Luminor and Radiomir are the Panerai collections of the same years, and the Unitas piece explains the hand-wound movements the Ferrari line's automatics sat beside.
