The 9002 is the Sky-Dweller's movement since 2023, the caliber 9001 of 2012 brought to Rolex's current specification. It powers 39 watches in this library, all 42 mm Sky-Dwellers. The [9001](/calibers/rolex-9001) was the most complex movement Rolex had built: an annual calendar, the Saros system, that distinguishes 30-day and 31-day months and needs correcting only in February, a second time zone on a rotating 24-hour disc, and the Ring Command bezel, which selects which function the crown sets. The reserve is 72 hours at 28,800 vph with 40 jewels, at 33 mm across, and every one is a Superlative Chronometer.
