In Context

The sapphire crystal will resist everything short of deliberate abuse.

The movement is hand-wound, so winding it becomes part of the day rather than something the watch does for you. 60 hours of reserve is enough to set it down on Friday evening and find it still running on Monday. At 18,000 vph the seconds hand advances 5 times a second, the slower and more audible rate of an older design.

57260 stands on its own in this catalogue — no other reference here shares its base number. It pairs a silver dial with a white gold case. It was a limited edition. Beyond the time it carries a tourbillon and an alarm.

Inside: Caliber 3750

Explore this caliber →

Introduced in 2015, caliber 3750 is the result of over 8 years of development and consists of over 2800 parts, including 242 jewels and three column wheels. Among its most notable features is its Hebraic Perpetual Calendar that is shown alongside the regular (Gregorian) calendar and business calendar. Due to the long-term changing cycles of the Hebraic calendar and its difference with the Gregorian calendar, its implementation in a watch was considered impossible until the unveiling of caliber 3750. This calendar includes a year indicator and and a Yom Kippur sector. Other notable features include the double retrograde rattrapante chronograph with two seconds hands moving in sync, yet not with one atop of the other; a night mode for the sonnerie, a chiming alarm, an ISO 8601 business calendar, a triple-axis 'armillary sphere' tourbillon and much more.
