About the Vacheron Constantin Les Cabinotiers

The department makes one of each. The Singing Birds with its enamelled dial, La Caravelle 1950, the Minute Repeater Tourbillon and the Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar are among the pieces here, and 26 of the 27 references are recorded as limited, most of them a single watch. Every dial is decorated by hand, which is why 17 are recorded as multi-coloured, and every movement carries the Hallmark of Geneva.

The four-aperture 2460 G4, which leaves the centre of the dial free for the artisan, is the most common movement at 7 references; the ultra-thin 1120 and its astronomical version account for 8; the 2755 TMR minute repeater tourbillon for 2, the 1731QP repeater perpetual calendar for 2, and the 4400, 2750 and skeletonised 2790 for the rest. 15 references are automatic and 12 hand-wound. 5 carry a tourbillon and 4 a minute repeater.

The 40 mm and 41 mm cases account for 15 references between them, with a few at 38 mm and up to 47 mm. Pink gold is the material of 15 cases and white gold of 12; there is nothing else. Water resistance is 30 m, and 5 references have a dial on both sides. The rarity median is 10.

Métiers d'Art is the series-produced line with the same crafts, and the Traditionnelle and Patrimony carry the movements in their standard form; the glossary defines the grand complication.
