Vacheron ConstantinPatrimony

The Patrimony is Vacheron Constantin's plainest watch: a round case with a slim bezel, a pearl minute track and baton indexes. It is drawn from the maison's 1950s designs and was relaunched under this name in 2004. This library holds 68 references, with a median case thickness of 8.45 mm.

About the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony

Where the Traditionnelle carries the codes of Geneva watchmaking on its dial, the Patrimony removes them, and the complications it carries are chosen to keep the dial calm: a retrograde date and day, a moon phase, a perpetual calendar in an ultra-thin case. The Patrimony Ultra-Thin 1731 of 2013 was, at 8.09 mm, the thinnest minute repeater then made.

The hand-wound 1400 powers the Manual-Winding models and 18 references here, the largest group; the automatic 2450 Q6 and its variants power the Self-Winding in 21; the 2460 R31R7 drives the Retrograde Day-Date in 6 and the 2460 R31L the Moon Phase Retrograde Date in 3; the ultra-thin 1120 QP is the perpetual calendar in 4; and the 1731 the repeater in 4. 41 references are automatic and 27 hand-wound, and every movement carries the Hallmark of Geneva.

The 40 mm case is the most common at 17 references, the 42.5 mm of the complicated models at 14, and 36 mm, 36.5 mm and 41 mm at 8 each. Pink gold is the material of 33 cases, white gold of 21 and platinum of 10; there is no steel. Silver dials account for 40. Water resistance is 30 m, and 67 of the 68 references have a display back. The largest families are the 85180/000R Self-Winding and 81180/000R Manual-Winding in pink gold, and the rarity median is 7. 11 references are limited editions.

The Historiques reissues the archive pieces the Patrimony's design comes from, and the Overseas is the sports line.
