Overseas Small Pink Gold / Brown / Alligator

In Context

At 37 mm it sits just under the modern norm — the band that suits the widest spread of wrists. At 10.8 mm thick it is about average for a modern wristwatch. The case back is open, so the movement is visible without taking the watch apart, and the sapphire crystal will resist everything short of deliberate abuse. 150 m is genuine swimming resistance — more than the shape of this watch suggests it would need.

The movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist. 60 hours of reserve is enough to set it down on Friday evening and find it still running on Monday. At 28,800 vph the seconds hand advances 8 times a second.

2305V/000R-B434 is one of 2 executions of the 2305V/000R base reference. Underneath they are the same watch; what separates this one is a brown sunburst dial and a pink gold case.

Caliber 5200 was introduced in 2016 as part of Vacheron Constantin's latest generation of automatic movements. This movement bears the Hallmark of Geneva and an 22-carat gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose.

10 other watches in the library run the Vacheron Constantin 5300.
