Overseas Date Stainless Steel / Silver

In Context

At 41 mm it is sized to the current mainstream: 40 mm is the median across every watch measured in this catalogue. At 10.69 mm thick it is about average for a modern wristwatch. The case back is open, so the movement is visible without taking the watch apart, and the sapphire crystal will resist everything short of deliberate abuse. 150 m is genuine swimming resistance — more than the shape of this watch suggests it would need.

The movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist. 60 hours of reserve is enough to set it down on Friday evening and find it still running on Monday. At 28,800 vph the seconds hand advances 8 times a second.

4520V/210A-B126 is one of 3 executions of the 4520V/210A base reference. Underneath they are the same watch; what separates this one is a silver sunburst dial and a stainless steel case.

Caliber 5100 was introduced in 2016 as part of Vacheron Constantin's latest generation of automatic movements. This movement bears the Hallmark of Geneva and an 22-carat gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose.

11 other watches in the library run the Vacheron Constantin 5100.
