About the Jaeger-LeCoultre 822

The Reverso's swivelling rectangular case needs a rectangular movement, and Jaeger-LeCoultre has made its own for it since 1931. The 822 beats at 21,600 vph with 21 jewels at 20.2 mm across, and it is the movement of the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin of 2011 and the Reverso Tribute Monoface, whose 1931 edition reproduced the original's dial.

In the library it powers 16 Reverso references at case widths of 26 mm to 31 mm, in steel, pink gold and yellow gold. 4 are limited editions.

The 822/2 adds a small seconds, the 822A/2 is the current thin version, and the 854A/2 the Duoface movement with two dials.
