About the Omega 2202
The 2500 put the co-axial escapement on the 2892 base in 1999, and the 2202 moves its seconds off the centre, with 27 jewels, a 48-hour reserve and a beat of 25,200 vph at 25.6 mm across, rhodium-plated and certified by the COSC. A small seconds gives a dress watch the face of a hand-wound one, which is why it sits in the Prestige and the Museum Collection.
