About the Patek Philippe 17''' LEP PS

A Lépine movement puts the small seconds opposite the crown, at 6 o'clock with the crown at 12, the layout of the open-face pocket watch since the eighteenth century. This one has 137 parts under seven bridges, 18 jewels, a 42-hour reserve and a slow beat of 18,000 vph, and it is finished to the Patek Philippe Seal. It is the base for the Lépine models of the pocket watch collection: the plain 973 in yellow, white and rose gold, and the 992 references from the Rare Handcrafts workshops, whose cases carry cloisonné enamel and hand engraving.

In the library it powers 31 pocket watches, 29 of them in the 44.1 mm case; 23 are limited editions, most of them the Rare Handcrafts pieces.

The 17''' LEP PS IRM adds a power reserve indicator, and the 17''' SAV PS is the hunter-cased Savonette layout with the crown at 3.
