The Rolex Caliber 7135, introduced in 2025 within the Land-Dweller model, represents a significant advancement in Rolex's mechanical movement engineering. Operating at a high frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 beats per hour), it enhances timekeeping precision while maintaining a commendable 66-hour power reserve. This balance is achieved through the innovative Dynapulse escapement, a double-wheel, indirect-tangential impulse system entirely crafted from silicon, offering a 30% increase in efficiency over the traditional Swiss lever escapement. ​ The movement incorporates a Syloxi silicon hairspring optimized for its high-frequency operation, ensuring consistent performance. Additionally, the Caliber 7135 features a ceramic balance staff, meticulously shaped and polished using femtosecond laser technology, enhancing durability and reducing friction. To further bolster resilience, Rolex has implemented an improved Paraflex shock absorption system, providing robust protection against both lateral and vertical shocks.
