About the Breitling Breitling for Bentley

The watches were large even by Breitling's standards and styled after the cars: knurled bezels drawn from the Bentley's controls, dials in the pattern of its air vents, and chronographs with a variable tachymeter and a 30-second sweep. The Bentley Motors at 48.7 mm, the Bentley GT at 44.8, the 6.75 named for the engine's capacity, the Flying B with its jumping hour in a rectangular case, the Mark VI, the Barnato and the GMT made up the range, and the B05 Unitime Midnight Carbon of 2013 brought the in-house world timer to it at 49 mm.

The movements are Breitling's usual calibers with a B suffix for the Bentley versions: the 44B in 12 references, the 13B in 9, the 25B with its 30-second chronograph in 8, the 16B and 27B of the Flying B, the 47B GMT and the B05 world timer in 3. The 7750 piece explains the base most of them share.

Sizes run from the 34.5 mm ladies' Flying B to 49 mm, with 49 mm and 48.7 mm the most common at 13 references each. 43 references are round and 17 rectangular. Steel is the material of 39 cases, with steel and a platinum bezel in 6, red gold in 6 and titanium in 3. Black dials lead at 16, silver at 12 and blue at 10. Water resistance is 100 m on 57 references. 2 are limited editions, and the rarity median is 6.

The Chronomat is the design the Bentley cases were drawn from, and the Premier carried the Bentley name after this line closed.
