RolexDatejust 41

The Datejust 41 is the largest Datejust, introduced in 2016 to replace the Datejust II, with a slimmer case and the caliber 3235. This library holds 50 references, every one on that movement.

About the Rolex Datejust 41

The Datejust II of 2009 had been 41 mm too, but thick, with a broad bezel; the 41 redrew the case to the proportions of the 36, with slimmer lugs and a thinner bezel, and put the 3235 inside it, the first Datejust to carry the 70-hour movement with the Chronergy escapement. The 3135-to-3235 piece sets out what that changed, and the Datejust size guide places the 41 in the family.

Rolesor, steel with a gold bezel and bracelet centres, is the collection's natural state: 18 references pair steel with yellow gold, 14 with Everose and 7 with white gold, and 9 are plain steel. The 6 base references branch into dials, the yellow Rolesor 126333 into 18 of them. Grey, silver, green and champagne dials lead, at 12, 8, 8 and 8. Water resistance is 100 m, and none are limited editions, which is Rolex policy.

The rarity median is 1, as low as any Rolex collection here: the Datejust 41 is a young line in a few configurations, and almost every reference is one of a family. It is the opposite of the Datejust 31, whose 45 base references and 1,171 variants make it the largest collection in this library.

The Datejust 36 is the original size, the Datejust II the watch it replaced, and the glossary defines Rolesor.
