About the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 31

The Oyster Perpetual is the watch every other Rolex is built from, the 1926 Oyster case with the 1931 Perpetual rotor, and the 31 mm sits between the 28 mm and the 34 mm in the current ladder. The 2020 generation, ref 277200, brought the 2232, the no-date version of the 2236 with the silicon Syloxi hairspring and a 55-hour reserve, and the coloured dials, pistachio, turquoise, coral and candy pink, that the line is now known for; it powers 15 references here. The earlier 177200 on the 2231 accounts for 6. The 2236 piece covers the family.

Every reference is steel and 31 mm, rated to 100 m, and the two base references branch only by dial: black, blue, green, silver, purple and pink among them. None are limited editions, and the rarity median is 2.

The Oyster Perpetual 28, Oyster Perpetual 34 and Oyster Perpetual 36 are the other sizes, and the Datejust 31 the same case with a date and a fluted bezel.
