Métiers d'Art Savoirs Enluminés Vultures

In Context

At 40 mm it is sized to the current mainstream: 40 mm is the median across every watch measured in this catalogue. At 10.3 mm thick it is about average for a modern wristwatch. The case back is open, so the movement is visible without taking the watch apart, and the sapphire crystal will resist everything short of deliberate abuse. Rated to 30 m, it is protected against rain and splashes and nothing beyond that.

The movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist. 40 hours of reserve carries it overnight, but not through a weekend in a drawer.

7000S/000G-B001 is one of 3 executions of the 7000S/000G base reference. Underneath they are the same watch; what separates this one is a guilloche dial and a white gold case. It was a limited edition.

Automatic movement developed and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin, with dragging hours additional mechanism; time indicated by Arabic numerals mounted on satellite-wheels. The hours move one after the other across a 120° scale.

9 other watches in the library run the Vacheron Constantin 1120 AT.
