It has the Parachrom hairspring, 31 jewels, a 48-hour reserve and a beat of 28,800 vph at 28.5 mm across, and every one is a COSC chronometer, from 2015 a Superlative Chronometer. Paraflex, introduced in 2005, is Rolex's own shock absorber, claimed to raise shock resistance by half over a conventional one.

In the library it powers 14 Cellini Time references in white gold and Everose, 5 of the 39 mm Oyster Perpetual of 2015 and 2 Explorer 214270s.

The 3130 is the same movement without Paraflex, and the 3230 the 2020 no-date movement with the Chronergy escapement that replaced both.
