BreitlingChronomat B01 41

The Chronomat 41 was the smaller companion to the Chronomat 44 from 2011 to 2019: the in-house B01 in a 41 mm case rated to 300 m. This library holds 52 references, every one on the same movement.

About the Breitling Chronomat B01 41

It kept everything the 44 had, the rider tabs on the unidirectional bezel, the screw-down crown and pushers and the Pilot or Rouleaux bracelet, in a case that sat closer to the 1984 original's size. The B01 inside is a column-wheel chronograph with a vertical clutch, a 70-hour reserve and 47 jewels, certified by the COSC, and the AB014 prefix of the reference identifies it, as the reference-number guide explains.

Steel is the material of 37 cases and steel with rose gold of 15. The dials run through silver, black, blue, brown and grey, with white on 4, and the collection is one of the few Breitling lines here with no limited editions at all: 52 base references for 52 watches, each a different combination of material, dial and bracelet. Water resistance is 300 m on 51 references, and 51 have a closed back.

The Chronomat B01 44 is the larger version of the same generation, the Chronomat B01 42 the 2020 redesign that replaced both, and the Chronomat 36 the three-hander on the same bracelet.
