RolexPearlmaster

The Pearlmaster is the gem-set Datejust, introduced in 1992 with its own five-piece bracelet of rounded links and made only in gold and platinum. This library holds 39 references.

About the Rolex Pearlmaster

It is the Datejust for the jeweller's window: the same Oyster case and date under a Cyclops lens, with bezels set with diamonds, sapphires and, on the 39 mm models of 2015, graded stones in orange, blue and rainbow sequences. The Pearlmaster bracelet is the collection's own, softer and rounder than the Jubilee, and the cases run to 29 mm, 34 mm and 39 mm.

The movements are the Datejust's. The 2235 powers 19 references and its silicon-hairspring successor the 2236 15, in the 29 mm and 34 mm; the 3235 sits in the 5 references at 39 mm. The 2236 piece covers the small calibers.

The 34 mm case accounts for 19 references, the 29 mm for 15 and the 39 mm for 5. White gold is the material of 13 cases, Everose of 12 and yellow gold of 12; there is no steel and, in this library, no platinum. White dials lead at 16, and pavé, champagne, brown, purple and pink follow. The rarity median is 8, with 15 of the 20 scored references at 8 or above, the highest of any Rolex collection here. Water resistance is 100 m, and none are limited editions.

The Lady-Datejust and Datejust 31 are the plainer Datejusts on the same movements, and the Day-Date the other Rolex made only in precious metal.
