About the Panerai P.6000 NS

The P.6000 of 2018 replaced the Unitas-based OP calibers as the entry to Panerai's hand-wound range: 15½ lignes, or 34.9 mm across, with 19 jewels, a beat of 21,600 vph and a 72-hour reserve from a single barrel, built to the simple, robust pattern of the historical movements. The NS version leaves out the seconds hand, so the Luminor Base Logo keeps the two-hand dial of the 1990s original.

In the library it powers 8 Luminor references, the Base Logo Tre Giorni and the Luna Rossa edition at 44 mm, 7 Radiomirs at 45 mm, the Officine and the Eilean among them, and one Luminor 1950. 4 are limited editions.

The P.6000 is the same movement with its small seconds, the OP II the Unitas-based movement it replaced, and the Unitas piece explains that lineage.
