BreitlingChronomat Evolution

The Chronomat Evolution was the Chronomat of 2004 to 2009: the last version on the Valjoux 7750 before the in-house B01, in a 43.7 mm case rated to 300 m. This library holds 28 references, every one on the same movement.

About the Breitling Chronomat Evolution

It enlarged the 1984 Chronomat and kept its parts, the rider tabs on the bezel, the screw-down crown and pushers and the Pilot bracelet, and it ran the Caliber 13, Breitling's chronometer-certified 7750, whose cam-actuated chronograph the 7750 piece explains. The Chronomat B01 of 2009 replaced it with the first in-house movement, and the 44 mm case that followed grew from the Evolution's.

Two-tone was the Evolution's habit: 13 of the 28 references pair steel with yellow gold, 11 are plain steel and 2 are solid yellow gold. Black, silver, blue and white dials lead, with a Bordeaux dial on 3. Water resistance is 300 m throughout, every case is 43.7 mm and 17.1 mm thick, and every one has a closed back. None are limited editions, and the rarity median is 1.

The Chronomat B01 44 is the generation that replaced it, the Cockpit and Galactic the smaller lines of the same family, and the Caliber B01 the movement the Evolution's successor introduced.
