BreitlingSuperocean Heritage

About the Breitling Superocean Heritage

The first Heritage kept the 1957 details, the arrow hands, the mesh "Ocean Classic" bracelet and the flat bezel, in 38 mm and 46 mm cases. The Superocean Heritage II of 2017 added a ceramic bezel insert and took a movement from the exchange with Tudor: the Caliber B20, Tudor's MT5612 finished by Breitling, with a 70-hour reserve. It is the most common movement here at 94 references. The B31, Breitling's own three-hand movement with a 78-hour reserve, joined the line in 2025 and appears in 22 references.

The chronographs use the B01 in 21 references, and the Chronoworks of 2016, which used ceramic and silicon parts to stretch the B01 to a 100-hour reserve, survives in 3. The earlier Heritage models ran the Caliber 17 and the Caliber 13 chronograph, 49 references between them.

The 46 mm and 42 mm cases are almost equal at 72 and 71 references, the 44 mm chronograph follows at 51, and the 36 mm, 38 mm and 40 mm ladies' and mid-size models make up the rest. Steel accounts for 124 cases and steel with a ceramic bezel for 52; the red gold two-tone models bring another 25. Water resistance is 200 m on 205 of the 208. Black, silver and blue dials lead, and the bronze-coloured dial of the 2017 launch appears on 19. 27 references are limited editions.

The Superocean is the modern diver, the Superocean Heritage '57 the 2020 revival of the 1957 case with a domed crystal, and the Premier shares the B01 and B20 movements.
