About the Patek Philippe Aquanaut

It was drawn from the Nautilus and made simpler and younger: the same porthole idea without the ears, a dial embossed in the pattern of the strap, and 120 m of water resistance. The ref 5060 of 1997 was 36 mm; the 5065 and 5165 grew it to 38 mm, the 5167 of 2007 to 40 mm, and the 5168G of 2017 to 42.2 mm in white gold. The 5164 Travel Time added a second time zone in 2011, the 5968 chronograph arrived in 2018, and the Aquanaut Luce of 2004 is the ladies' line, quartz at first and now with an annual calendar and a minute repeater above it.

The 324 S C powers 14 references, the 5167 and 5168, and its successor the 26-330 S C 3. The quartz E23-250 S C of the Luce accounts for 9, the CH 28-520 C of the 5968 chronograph for 5, the 324 S C FUS of the Travel Time for 3, and the R 27 minute repeater of the Luce Haute Joaillerie for 2. 30 references are automatic and 11 quartz.

The 35.6 mm Luce is the most common size at 13 references, the 38.8 mm at 11, the 42.2 mm at 6 and the 40.8 mm 5167 at 4. Steel is the material of 15 cases, rose gold of 14 and white gold of 12. White, blue and black dials lead, and the green of the 5167A-010 and 5968G sits behind them. Water resistance is 120 m on 34 references. The 27 base references group into small families, the 5067A Luce the largest at 6, and 2 references are limited editions.

The Calatrava is the dress line on the same 324 S C, and Complications holds the Travel Time movement in other cases.
