Caliber 37

About the Breitling Caliber 37

The 2895 is the 2892 with the seconds moved off the centre to a subdial at 6 o'clock, which changes the dial more than the mechanism: a small seconds gives a three-hand watch the look of a hand-wound one. The base keeps the 2892's 28,800 vph and 42-hour reserve, with 27 jewels at 25.6 mm across, and every Caliber 37 is COSC-certified.

In the library it is the movement of the Galactic 36, 41 references, and of the Premier Automatic 40 of 2018, 17 references, whose small seconds and applied indices set it apart from the Premier chronographs. Three Superocean Heritage 38 references make up the rest. The 36 mm case accounts for 41 references and the 40 mm for 17.

The Caliber 10 is the same base with central seconds, the Caliber 49 the big-date version, and the 2892 piece explains the family.
