BreitlingSkyracer

The Skyracer was a Breitling chronograph of the 2000s: a 44 mm steel case with a 7750-based movement, rated to 200 m and sold on a rubber or leather strap. This library holds 26 references, every one on the same caliber.

About the Breitling Skyracer

It sat in the Professional family beside the Avenger and the Aerospace, with a screw-down crown, a ratcheted bezel and large luminous numerals, and the Raven editions with their black dials were the best-known versions. The Caliber 27 inside is an ETA 2892 base with a chronograph module whose hours and minutes share one register, finished and certified by Breitling; the 2892 piece describes the base. Every reference is automatic.

Steel is the material of all 26 cases. The 44 mm case accounts for 22 references and the 43.5 mm for 4, at a median thickness of 16 mm. Black dials lead at 17 and blue at 5. Water resistance is 200 m on 25 references, and every case has a closed back. None are limited editions, and the rarity median is 7.

The Avenger is the tool-watch line that outlived it, the Chronomat Evolution the flagship 7750 chronograph of the same years, and the Colt the entry line beneath it.
